A temperature transmitter is a device used to measure and transmit information about the temperature of a system. It converts the physical quantity of temperature into a standardized electrical signal, such as a current or voltage signal, which can be easily transmitted and processed by other electronic devices.
The temperature transmitter consists of a temperature sensor, an electronic signal conditioning circuit, and a transmission circuit. The temperature sensor can be a thermocouple, resistance temperature detector (RTD), thermistor, or other temperature sensors available on the market.
When the temperature sensor detects a temperature variation, it produces an electrical signal proportional to that change.
