The AL-2605 module is an active terminator for PROFIBUS networks, with redundant power source diagnostics. It is applied
at the ends of PROFIBUS-DP network segments to ensure the perfect functioning of the network, should any
master or slave PROFIBUS device, installed at the ends, be turned off or hot-swapped. The product also checks the status of field power sources, providing diagnostics in case of failure.
Its application is recommended for any PROFIBUS-DP network where reliability and availability are priority requirements.
Its main features are:
· active PROFIBUS termination according to EN 50170 standard
· compatible with PROFIBUS DB9 connectors
· applicable with PROFIBUS-DP products from any manufacturer.
· redundant 24 Vdc power supply
· power supply monitoring
· dry contact for remote fault diagnostics
· diagnostic signaling LEDs
· DIN rail TS35 mounting
