The UNIK 5900 series pressure transmitters, model PTX 59J2-TD-A2-CC-H1-RP-5441 (hereinafter referred to as transmitters), are designed for continuous measurement and conversion of absolute pressure in a liquid or gas into an analog DC output signal.
The operating principle of the UNIK 5900 series pressure sensors, model PTX 59J2-TD-A2-CC-H1-RP-5441, is based on the transformation of the elastic deformation of the primary piezoresistive transducer into a proportional unified electrical signal. When pressure is applied to the elastic membrane of the silicon sensing element, a proportional change in the electrical resistance of the piezoresistive bridge occurs. The change in resistance causes a proportional change in the output voltage, which is then amplified, shaped, and converted into a unified current output signal.
