A smart relay is an advanced version of a conventional relay that includes additional control, monitoring, and communication features. These additional features allow the smart relay to perform more sophisticated functions and offer greater automation and integration capabilities with other systems.

They are widely used in electrical power distribution systems, industrial automation, energy monitoring and control systems, among other applications where advanced control, monitoring, and protection functionalities are required.

TeSys T is a motor management system that provides complete motor monitoring, control, and protection when used with short-circuit protection and a contactor. TeSys T manages the most critical processes, reducing downtime and increasing productivity. TeSys T is a flexible system that seamlessly integrates into your automation system through five main communication protocols. TeSys T anticipates what will happen in the process, as it accurately monitors current, voltage, and power across a wide range. This controller is the central component in the motor management system. The module manages the basic functions of the motor management system. It manages three-phase current measurement via integrated current transformers from 0.4 to 100 A or up to 810 A via external current transformers. It also measures ground current with internal or external ground sensors, motor temperature, and inputs and outputs for the various motor control modes, management of detected faults, and other functions. The DeviceNet protocol is used by this controller. This module has 6 discrete logical inputs, 3 relay logical outputs, and one relay output for signaling detected fault overload relay. The current range of this controller is 0.4 to 8 amperes. 120 to 240 VAC is used to power this controller. The controller has the following certifications: UL, CSA NOM, ATEX, BV, EAC, RINA, LROS, DNV, ABS, GL, KERI, RMRoS, C-Tick, and CCC.
