The SIPROTEC 7SJ64 can be used as a protection control and monitoring relay for distribution feeders and transmission lines of any voltage in solidly grounded, low-resistance grounded, ungrounded, or compensated neutral point structured networks.
Multifunctional protection with SIPROTEC 7SJ64 synchronization
The relay is suitable for radial or looped networks and for lines with single-terminal or multi-terminal feeds. The SIPROTEC 7SJ64 is equipped with a synchronization function that provides ‘synchronism check’ (classic) and ‘synchronous/asynchronous switching’ operating modes (which takes into account the mechanical delay of the circuit breaker). Motor protection includes undervoltage monitoring, starting time supervision, restart inhibition, locked rotor, load congestion protection, as well as motor statistics.
