In three-phase power systems, it is essential that the voltages in each phase are balanced to ensure the proper functioning of electrical equipment.
When a significant voltage imbalance occurs between phases, it can indicate problems such as electrical system component failures, connection issues, or unbalanced loads. This can result in malfunction or damage to electrical equipment connected to the system.
The UNSX type relay was specially designed for supervising electrical networks and motors against phase failure, phase reversal, and undervoltage. The relay is solid-state, insensitive to vibration or shock, and can be installed in any position.
Suitable for protecting motors against phase failure due to a blown fuse in contactor-fuse starter systems.
Protection is efficient even in unfavorable conditions, i.e., when the return voltage in the faulty phase is close to the supply voltage, in the case of lightly loaded motors.
An electronic circuit with total transient protection and the reliability of the components used ensure a long life under continuous operation.
