The Yokogawa ESB SB401-10 bus interface module is a device used in industrial automation and control systems to enable communication between different devices and equipment connected to various fieldbuses.
Like the SB401-50 model, this module also supports various communication protocols, including FOUNDATION Fieldbus, PROFIBUS DP, and Modbus RTU. It has one port for connection to the fieldbus, allowing devices from different buses to be connected to a single control system.
The ESB SB401-10 is capable of performing measurement, control, and diagnostic functions for devices connected to the bus, as well as enabling remote monitoring and configuration of devices. It is designed to operate in harsh industrial environments, with a wide operating temperature range, high resistance to vibrations and mechanical shocks, and protection against electromagnetic interference.
