A thermal inspection safety window is a device installed in electrical panels, equipment enclosures, and other installations where it is necessary to perform thermal inspections safely and efficiently.
Thermography is a technique that uses infrared cameras to detect and visualize temperature variations, allowing the identification of hot spots, failures, and malfunctioning areas without the need to disassemble or open the equipment.
A Thermal Inspection Window is basically a lens made of Polymer or Crystal material, together with an aluminum or stainless steel base.
The lens allows the passage of infrared radiation at the frequency used by thermal imagers for inspection. The windows are mounted on the panels in positions that allow the inspection of the internal electrical components. Often more than one Thermal Inspection Window is installed on a panel to allow complete inspection of the components.
The purpose of JIT Thermal Inspection Safety Windows is to allow thermal and UV (Crystal lens) inspections to be carried out without the need to open the panels, thereby keeping the professional team safe.
It allows inspections to be carried out safely, as it becomes possible to perform thermal and UV measurements of the internal components of the panel without the need to open their doors. It is possible to carry out inspections at all times, without depending on shutdowns. Its installation complies with NR-10 standard. There is a significant time saving in carrying out thermal and UV inspections, because with the installation of the JIT window, opening covers and doors is eliminated, thus saving time during a thermal inspection. Its cost is negligible compared to the losses that a production shutdown or panel loss represents.

- Allows thermal inspection, visual inspection (Crystal lenses), ultraviolet inspection (Crystal lenses) and IR image fusion (visual + thermal – Crystal lenses).
- National manufacturing with lifetime warranty (limited to the useful life of the panel).
- The only one with finite element testing (comparison between electrical panel structure without Window and with Window).
Models with the Quick-JIT installation system require only one hole for installation.
Models with screw fixing come with a drilling template, thus allowing precise drilling for fitting the Windows. With the right tools, installation can be carried out quickly, easily and safely.
