Gland packings are widely used in industries such as automotive, oil and gas, and industrial machinery, to ensure the efficiency and safety of equipment, preventing leaks and protecting against contamination.

Extremely versatile gland packing that can be used in dynamic and static applications. Recommended for valves in high pressures and temperatures. Teadit style 2202 has its central braiding with flexible graphite yarns and the corners (vertices) and columns reinforced with diagonally interwoven carbon fiber yarns. This combination allows this style to be three times more resistant to extrusion when compared to unreinforced graphite packings.
Due to the high chemical resistance of the raw materials used, style 2202 can be used in practically all media such as saturated or superheated steam, chemical products, gases, thermal fluids, and solvents, with the exception of strong oxidizing agents, being widely adopted in boiler valves, in hydrocarbons, and in the petrochemical industry, in general.
