A circuit breaker is an electrical protection device designed to automatically interrupt the flow of electric current in a circuit when it detects abnormal conditions, such as overload or short circuit. It protects equipment, installations, and people from damage caused by these electrical faults.
Overload protection:
Interrupts the circuit when the electrical current exceeds the maximum limit supported by the cables or equipment.
Short-circuit protection:
Immediately trips in case of direct contact between phase and neutral or between phases, preventing high currents that can cause fires.
Easy re-engagement:
Unlike fuses, circuit breakers can be manually reset after tripping, without the need for replacement.
Designed for overload and short-circuit protection. Available with currents from 2 to 125 A, in single-pole, double-pole, three-pole, and four-pole versions.
