MPW motor circuit breakers are the compact solution for starting and protecting electric motors up to 100A 1). They have a high breaking capacity, allowing their use even in installations with a high level of short-circuit current. They ensure total protection of the electrical circuit and the motor through their thermal (adjustable for overload protection and equipped with a differential mechanism with phase failure sensitivity) and magnetic (calibrated for short-circuit protection) trip units.
They have versions with button operation (MPW18) or rotary operation (MPW40/80/100) and trip indication, allowing the operator to view the circuit breaker status. The circuit breakers can be locked with a padlock in the "off" position, thus ensuring safety during maintenance.
