The JNG DZ47-63 C20 230V Unipolar Circuit Breaker is a thermomagnetic circuit breaker, which means it operates through two mechanisms:
Overload: When the electric current passing through the circuit breaker exceeds its nominal value, the thermal mechanism acts, causing the temperature of the contacts to increase. When the temperature reaches a predefined value, the contacts open, interrupting the electrical circuit.
Short circuit: When a short circuit occurs, the electric current passing through the circuit breaker suddenly and significantly increases. The magnetic mechanism acts, causing a coil to activate, which opens the contacts, interrupting the electrical circuit.
