The HBM universal "S" load cell
has an equivalent performance level
to C3 at very reasonable prices. The basis
of this new unit is the HBM S35 load cell,
featuring only minor improvements in terms of
design and manufacturing material,
through which both accuracy and durability
were increased. The S40 uses standard
metric dimensions and thread specifications
to allow interchangeability between various
brands of load cells, which makes the S40
an ideal option to keep in stock as a spare part.
The S40's electronics are internally sealed
against environmental factors and externally protected
by solid side plates. The robust stainless steel
construction and bold design allow the S40
to be not only a precise performance load cell,
but also a product that can endure years of hard work.
