Shunt Trip Coil FD/FE/FG 220/240 Vac 250 Vdc
Shunt trips can be easily and quickly installed in a specifically designed accessory compartment, which is
accessible by removing the circuit breaker cover. This fully insulated compartment has several pockets, one of which is
reserved for a relay indicated by a symbol printed on the circuit breaker casing and on the auxiliary device
itself. External wiring can be brought into the accessory compartment through - specifically designed and
positioned - open apertures in the circuit breaker cover or can pass through channels in the rear of the circuit breaker.
Once done, the wiring can be stripped and easily connected to the cage terminals inside the
accessories. These terminals are designed to connect wiring up to 2.5 mm². The devices are designed to trip
the circuit breaker when its contacts are closed and the handle indicates the "ON" position. When the circuit breaker
contacts are open and the circuit breaker handle indicates "OFF" or "TRIP", activating the releases will have no effect.
