Functions:
Opening: The coil receives an electrical signal that energizes it, generating a magnetic field. This magnetic field interacts with the mechanical components of the circuit breaker, causing the main contacts to open. This interrupts the flow of electrical current through the circuit breaker.
Closing: Similarly, upon receiving an electrical signal to close, the coil energizes, generating a magnetic field that actuates the circuit breaker mechanism, closing the main contacts. This allows the re-establishment of the electrical current flow.
